Hall of Fame Group Recordings Include 24 Top 40 Hits...
American Friends of our Armed Forces has announced the award-winning group The Four Tops will headline the charities 20th annual Salute to our Troops & Golf Classic.
Held each year at Toscana Country Club located in Indian Wells, California, the annual fundraiser provides support for military families facing financial, emotional, and social challenges while defending the freedoms cherished by Americans.

AFAF’s Military Appreciation Golf Tournament returns to the world famous Classic Club on December 2, 2024. The day includes championship golf, great food and prizes for everyone. AFAF will host 75 Marines who will join civilian sponsors for the charity’s 16th Annual Golf Classic. Click here for more details.
Celebrations Planned with Valley Host Families and at Marine Base
AFAF has announced plans for the charity’s 18th Annual Adopt a Marine for Thanksgiving, including the hosting of more than 250 Marines from the Marine Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, California.
Luxury, chartered busses will make the trip from the Coachella Valley to the Marine Base to pick up the Marines for the trip to valley drop off points where host families will be anxiously awaiting the Marine they will host on this most American of Holidays.
As in recent years, AFAF will also host a Thanksgiving celebration at the base for over 500 Marines. This double Thanksgiving celebration in the valley and at the base has become an annual tradition that Marines look forward to each year.

American Friends of our Armed Forces and Marine Corps Community Services have announced plans for an unforgettable celebration for Marine Sailors and families at the Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. The event will be held in early May, 2025.
AFAF will provide more than 400 teddy bears to military children during the day devoted to saluting the service of military families. Included on this very special day will food stands, a fun zone for the kids, a rock climbing activity, face painting, balloon twisting and more. Over 5,000 military family members are expected to attend.

A group of more than 30 key AFAF supporters visited the Marine Air Ground Combat Center at 29 Palms for a tour of combat training sites and activities.

World Of Women (WOW) - Sun City Palm Desert held its annual "Fashion Trends" Teddy Bear Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa.
AFAF provides the single Marines at the 29 Palms Marine Corps base with morale boosters in the form of prizes, care packages and entertainment.
ASYMCA Executive Director Anita Neu-Fultz commented that the support of AFAF made it possible for many military children to enjoy camp for the first time.
Since AFAF came on board as a sponsor for MCAGCC Youth Sports several years back, we now serve over 3000 Children & Youth.
AFAF came to the rescue during the “dog days of summer” providing funding for 34 children, 34 mothers, 13 siblings, & 14 visiting fathers & grandparents.
This unique, one of kind program increases both the students and instructors morale, including time to unwind, listen to music and enjoy a hot meal away from their daily training.
School of Infantry recreation center provides Marine students the ability to de-stress, unwind, and relax from their arduous & intensive training.
