American Friends of our Armed Forces relies solely on donations and volunteer assistance to carry out its mission of providing for the needs of American troops serving overseas and their families remaining at home.
AFAF is an all volunteer organization and is funded entirely by private donations. We receive no government funding.AFAF is a qualified 501 (C)(3) charitable organization under IRS regulations with taxpayer ID #20-1961737 and is registered in the State of California.
Donations made to AFAF are considered deductible for income tax purposes.
Donations can be made with a check made payable to AFAF. The check, along with your return name and address, should be forwarded to:

Donations can be made using an approved credit card (MasterCard and Visa) by calling 760-340-0392 where your credit card information will be taken and your account will be charged for your donation.
Donations can be made using Paypal. Use your Paypal account, or a credit card without an account. It's easy and secure.
You can make charitable donations through the gift of corporate stocks. This is of particular advantage to the donor if they have owned the stock for at least 12 months and the stock has appreciated in value during their time of ownership.
Under these conditions the Internal Revenue Service allows you to deduct the full value of the donated stock without paying a tax on the capital gains achieved during your ownership.
To make arrangements for a transfer of corporate stock, please contact us. We will help you with arrangements for the transfer. You should always check with your financial advisor before making a gift of a stock of securities.
