American Friends of our Armed Forces (AFAF) does not accept unsolicited grants. Invited nonprofits may submit a grant request, during a designated timeframe, for the benefit of active-duty military personnel and their families. AFAF makes grants to organizations authorized under the United States Internal Revenue Code to operate as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity and other organizations that provide services to active duty military and their families.

Organizations that serve active-duty military personnel and their families stationed or deployed from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) in Twentynine Palms, California, receive priority for available funds.
